We prefer sustainable everyday heroes over trendy fads

At Eva Eriksson Design, we always put function first. We are convinced that good design equals good function. Over the years, we have been working with products within a range of areas. Play & learning and public spaces are good examples of our diversity. Some of our work has been based on our own ideas while others have been assignments. Here are some examples:

Assignments

Furniture for schools and preschools

Furniture for schools and preschools

In collaboration with our customers in the school furniture industry, we have created many long-lived bestsellers. We have for instance designed popular children’s play kitchens, products for cloakrooms and chairs.

Tactile illustrations

Tactile illustrations

Illustrating and producing tactile and relief images for visually impaired children has since many years been one of our areas of expertise. Within this field, we have been working for Swedish, as well as Norwegian, government agencies.

Our own ideas

twins.IT

twins.IT

The chair for teamwork in school. With twins.IT two children can sit shoulder to shoulder on the same seat and do work together, for example on the same computer.

Christmas lights

Christmas lights

This plain star was, due to a "triking resemblance, named ”Gudrun” after the woman who played the triangle in ”The Kurt Olsson orchestra". A small source of light that spreads an atmospheric glitter in some corner of the December darkness.

The carrier belt

The carrier belt

Much easier to use than traditional baby carriers. Can be used as an ”extra hand” when one needs to carry both child and grocery bag.
